I KNOW WHY I WONT POST A PIC NE MORE...PUT PIC ON OTHER SITE AND GOT PESTERED BY EVERY PERSON I HAD NO DESIRE TO MEET. ALSO MET A FEW POSIBILITIES, MADE NEW FRIENDS BUT MOST OF THEM WERE INTERESTED IN ONE THING AND IT WASNT GETTING TO KNOW ME.SO YES IF YOU DONT LIKE THE ME YOU GET TO KNOW BY VOICE OR ONLINE THEN WHEN WE DO MEET YOU WILL STILL BE GETTING THE PERSON YOU KNOW.DONT WASTE OUR TIME IF WE DONT CLICK THAT WAY. I HAVE SPENT MONTHS TALKING TO SOMEONE AND WHEN WE MET THEY LOOKED ALMOST NOTHING LIKE THEIR PIC AND I WASTED ALL THAT TIME. IF THEIR PIC WAS A LIE HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL ME?

Ahhhhh, the element of surprise. I don't think so. I'm too old to play "who are you" But, then again maybe for some people it's an ice breaker for us to ask "Can you post a picture"? . Honestly it APPEARS one sided "you see me but I can't see you"

Well i wish i could post a pic..however my pc doesnt want me too. So until i get it fixed or new one..this will have to do..But i do understand what your saying..i like pictures and see who i am chatting with .. i just dont want to loose a possobly good oppportunity to meet a new friend or otherwise..

Well, the BK police have changed the photo policies, now your main pic has to be a real pic. No more tigers, cartoons, etc. BK is just a tad too a*n*a*l retentive anymore. I may have to find somewhere else to hang out.

H1Angel, I understand your point completely, but women aren't the only ones who need to be careful, that's all I'm trying to say. I'm trying to be just like you, gentle as a dove and wise as a serpent, but I'm thankful for the few who have taken the time to get to know me by contacting me and communicating through email. Some very nice and sweet people. One day, I may post a pic, but there's still a lot of head games and childish behavior that goes on in here, so I'm still going to err on the side of caution and safety, if for no other reason than for my kids.

I know most of you are thinking someone is hiding thier ugly mug...or they are hiding in a group pic...sort of like this but... it turns out that some good looking woman just want to lurk and do the picking......cool too.

As a single female living alone in the middle of nowhere...I am to be innocent as a dove and wise as a serpant. I am WAY too suspicious of someone not putting a photo up...it's a huge red flag in my book...that's all...I really don't even like talkin to people in the forums w/out one...but I do like your tiger..he's cute. A girl has to be careful that's all.

Well, HAngel, you have your reasons, I have mine. Nothing wrong with that, but that is another reason I won't post a pic. I would like someone to get to know me for me, and like me for me. I'm no Brad Pitt, but I'm no Igor either, so you could be taking a chance on missing out on getting to know a pretty decent guy by not giving him a chance just because there is no pic. Kinda reminds me of something my 15 yr old would say, though. But you are allowed to be you, and I'm allowed to be me, and that's the best way to be anyway.

OK...I have a scenario...I have made the mistake of writing to a person with no pic...wont do it again..and i dont care what your reason is...sorry. sooooo....when they sent me their pic...it was pretty bad....no attraction whatsoever....OK.......now...the problem is i had to tell him that i wasnt interested w/out hurting his feelings too bad.....anyway...way too much hassle!! I'd much rather see if i am at least a tiny bit attracted first before i even talk to them.

Okay, okay I posted one already! All ya have to do now is figure out which one is me lol! Sorry I just couldn't resist this besides it proves there are those of us who ARE grey! tee hee hee!

Well, most of us have our own personal reasons. Mine is that I was threatened by someone who I had only chatted with a few times because I wouldn't come and spend the weekend with her, and she had family that lived close to me and knew my small home town pretty well. The problem was that I have my kids, and it shook me up pretty bad when she described my town to a T. It caused me to stay off of the net for over a year before I got back on, and now my identity is pretty closely guarded for my kids sake. Nothing against any of you, and nothing to hide here. If someone really wants to see my pic, it's not too hard to get it. Usually all it takes is to ask for it, and I will send it if I feel comfortable that you will be nice and polite. I've sent it to several on the boards already, simply because they asked and I've read enough of their posts to have a very good idea of what they are like. So that's my reason, not sure about anyone else and theirs, but I'm sure they have one that matters to them.
